How do you create marshmallow sauce only using marshmallows?

I have a fondue pretzel kit and want some Marshmallow Sauce to go with it. I just bought a bag of min-marshmallows and want to know if I can make marshmallow sauce by just microwaving marshmallows.

i dont think mini marshmallows are the best choice. with big ones, put it on a stick, and burn them like in a fire or soemthing like that.(for a long time) take a plate and a spoon and mush it up. u have marshmallow sauce

  • RAVEN:

    dont microwave them
melt them gently over a double boiler
(pan with water and a glass bowl)

if you cannot keep it warm
    add a little cream
    it will stop them solidifying
a few drops of vanilla extract will give it a lovely smooth flavour too if you have any

You can heat them, but it makes a terrible mess and burns easily. It may never become “sauce” consistency either.

Go buy a jar of marshmallow fluff and skip the hassle ;-) Save them for your hot cocoa, and use the fondue pot for melted chocolate fondue… great for strawberries as well as pretzels ;-)
