What’s a really easy cheese fondue recipe?

All the recipes I find are complicated, with many ingredients. I also don’t want it to be so simple as a pack of processed cheese. Can anyone suggest a happy medium?
I have a chocolate fondue Set and It is missing a Detachable serving tray, Do i really need this ?

Okay so I got this Fondue set from target and It didnt come with its Detachable Serving tray and this was for thanksgiving too so, should I go back to the store and Return it for another one ?

Anyone have a really good fondue recipe?

I only have one fondue pot and want to make a dessert. I have never used it…Any advice, and recipes that would work for 5 adults and 2 little girls? I have 12 skewers, too.
