I want to use my new fondue set at a New Year’s Brunch. ?

I will have fruits, meat and breads to dip but I’m not sure what else to serve. This is not a football crowd so the wings and beer thing is out.
Would quiche be too much cheese? Soup too messy for buffet style?
Salad or Veg platter? Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Mark and I enjoying our 2 yrs and 5 months anniversary brunch at Artisanal. Cheese fondue (shown in video) and then chocolate fondue to follow for a tasty dessert.
