Question about chocolate fondue or fondue in general….?

I would like to buy a fondue set. I would like to melt chocolate for dipping, and whatever else you might do with a fondue. Is it enough to have just a little tealight? Is it better to get the type that holds the sterno? Is it easier to just bypass all that and get an electric one? What do you think?
Honestly, mainly I want it to occasionaly heat up some chocolate and dip fruit into them at night.

Fondue set. Im from Australia and was thinking about purchasing one until i found out . ?

That for it to work you have to put methylatedd sprints in the fuel burner under the fondue pot i just don’t like thought of it because of the quite strong smell it has. Would like to hear from people who have one and how safe it and how it works .
