What kind of Cheese should I use for Fondue???

I got a fondue set for Christmas and wanted to use it for Valentines day, but I don’t know what kind of cheese to use or what I should dip.
Bread… Veggies… Cooked Chicken cubes…

I know how to melt chocolate and use it for “desserts” but have never used it with cheese.

    Chedder, Gouda or Raclette.
Raclette though only if you are an experienced cheese eater!!

    Gruyère

Cheese Fondue Recipe (courtesy of Emeril Lagasse)

The recipe is below, you can use 8 ounces Gruyere cheese, and you can dip any of your favorite foods, bread, chicken, veggies, have a little of everything.

Chicken cubes, broccoli or cauliflower, french bread

The best recipes in my opinion mix both swiss and guyere. Add a pinch of nutmeg and Kirshe water (cherry) if you got it.

Fontina is usually used but Raclette is very good. Add a bit of kirsch (schnapps) liquor

I had a “fiesta” cheese at the Melting Pot once, and it was DELICIOUS!!! I think it was cheddar with jalapenos and garlic! Super good on tortillas and bread…even apples!
